Annual Post - whaaat?

So randomly today I decided to check my xanga. When I did so I realized its been one full year since the last post. Crazy coincidence eh?!

Winter 10 - Went to Vegas the weekend before shut down at work. Stayed in a super baller room at Caesar's Palace thanks to hongan and hamilton! That room was soooo nice. Earl of Sandwich at planet hollywood is the besssst and XS music was too loud cause the bass totally wrecked my hearing for a few hours. Gave my remaining 4loko's to dave and matt for their birthdays and then dave fell on his face bleeding later in the night. NICE.

Pat,Jon, Anthony, and Adam tagged along after for a trip to utah for some boarding action. We went to Canyons and some other places i forget already. Powder was epic but sinking and walking for a qtr mile with no snow shoes in knee level snow suuuuucks! It was a fun trip.

Weekend after I ended up rolling with jon up to tahoe. Snow was good but the best part of this trip was the development of "High-Low-Tahoe" Game is nucking futs! First time i spent new years far away from home but that's okay, lake tahoe had a pretty poppin' party.

Fast forward a few weeks to the first weekend in february and I somehow was able to book a cabin on carnival cruiselines for 5 people 3 days before the ship set sail! It was for Sean's break from Afghanistan! We had a great time on the boat playing shuffleboard, sneaking soju and malibu onto the ship using all sorts of rediculous methods. Dan got left behind cause he didn't have a passport but Aaron stepped up at the last min and took his spot. Tons of food, tons of drinking, horseback riding, and ATVing on the beach left us pretty tired. We snagged some authentic churros and some crazy seafood cocktail that peter and I shared. We also snuck a whole handle of tequila back onto the ship minus one small rum runner that sean got caught with on the way back in. Federales caught it!! All in all - it was an EPIC trip.

Then there was big bear on Super Bowl Sunday - Big bear runs have never looked so wide before. Got caught with some screwdrivers in our waterbottles after talking about faderade really loudly. Cabin was pretty nice. 3 stories made me kinda nautious after climbing up all the stairs. hottub was nice but not hot enough the first night. Kung fu chopped a costco kettle chips bag and made a mess. "Horse racing" was pretty amazing and the beer kept flowing. Fun trip had by all!

Not too much going on right now. Pretty into hiking - Ortega falls this weekend or bust! Went up to Holy Jim Falls last weekend and some forest in Malibu 2 weeks before that. Still having fun playing hockey and tennis & sushi tuesdays in Los Alimitos with the guys.Wish i could play more basketball though.

Musicwise - Went on a fantastic trip to utah and vegas and got to hear a lot of new stuff. pretty into lil wayne and lupe fiasco right now.

Work is work and I play every weekend. Gonna plan a trip somewhere soon. I think supai is planned for this july so that should be interesting!

Over a year now...

Wow,

My last post was over a year ago. Trying to bring this back so I can read it to remember stuff that's happened. my last post was about Pandora...yeah, i don't use it anymore. Its all about slacker radio now. Much better! I got a motorcycle...thats fun too!

Pandora rules!

I decided to finally use Pandora after being told about it for like 3 years? I remember when sharon and dave first told me about it and i was like..meh. Whatever. But seriously, this is really awesome!!!

Other News:
I really wish i called in to the Suze Orman show before I bought my motorcycle. I'm 90% certain she would have told me that i couldn't afford it. Its super fun to have a bike but after watching that show, I realize theres so many other places I should invest my money right now.

Going to Vegas twice before the year's end. Should be fun and exciting and hopefully not TOO terribly expensive.

whew

So we won our basketball game last night! Super exciting and fun to watch! Our team's name is Crazy Legs. Makes me wonder if its time to change our 6 season old hockey club name. I donno, after 6 seasons, I think I've become rather bored of "Team Jack."

In other news, I just picked up a new fishing rod from Mahi Tackle and I can't wait to go out and catch some fish! Some of you might remember me in HS completely obsessed with fishing. Theres something about self-sustenance that I find to be VERY cool . Maybe I'll take up planting vegetables next! I have also clearly forgotten how fun and exciting it is to play video games! Battlefield 2 was such an awesome game and its so much nicer now that I don't crash every 5 min anymore. Too many hobbies...too little time.

Xanga got wierd!

Wow, xanga got all fancy smancy!!! Anyways, after more than a year of not posting anything, I decided to put something up.

Seattle: Seattle was fun! Went to the space needle, rock 'n roll museum, sci-fi museum, pike street market, and a buncha other places.

Alaska: Cruises are not for me. It was very enjoyable and I ate a lot of food, but I don't feel like i really experienced much of the state. I didn't even see a bear. I don't think I  don't think i would ever cruise again for over a week because it starts to get really boring on the ship after a few days of seeing nothing but water.

Whats spinning on winamp:
The Fray - Cable Car
Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
